3. What does the warranty cover?

Tarpaulin: 1 year warranty
The Navigloo tarpaulin is guaranteed against any manufacturing defects that could appear in the year (1) following delivery to the purchaser, as long as the manufacturer is immediately informed. This warranty does not cover the discoloration of the tarpaulin caused by the sun.

Frame parts: 3 year warranty
The boat shelter frame parts are guaranteed against any manufacturing defects that could appear within three (3) years following delivery to the purchaser, as long as the manufacturer is immediately informed.

5. What is the life expectancy of the tarpaulin?

The lifespan of the fabric depends on usage, on storage conditions, and on the natural elements to which the fabric will be exposed.

Average lifespan with optimal conditions: 3 to 4 years

The Navigloo tarpaulin is designed for a long utilisation period. The benefits of polyethylene high density (PEHD) associated with UV protection treatment guarantees better ageing of the fabric.

6. What tricks or suggestions do you recommend with regards
to prolonging life expectancy of tarpaulin?
  • Make sure that the Navigloo tarp is dry and clean before putting it into storage.
  • Store your tarp in a dry area where it will not be exposed to the sun.
  • Make sure to use an extra rope around the hull or contour of the watercraft and tighten securely – to relieve stress on the grommets on windy days and to help to prevent small animals from infiltrating into the watercraft.
